So… we may have absolutely fallen in love with this deliciously designed day. Vibrant colors, amazing eclectic details, and perfectly incorporated cultural elements made Miwa and Jason’s wedding at L’Auberge de Sedona an absolute knockout! Although we never met the lovely couple, their planner, Kelsey, let us know that they are some of the sweetest humans! It was definitely clear that they had big hearts and knew how to dream big as well. Fun fact: Miwa works at Pinterest so you already KNOW her ideas were going to be eye-catching and her Pinterest board was going to be stacked! She has such an incredible eye for design and unique details which made this creation process so much fun.

One of the most important elements of their wedding day for Miwa and Jason was their guests’ experience.
They knew they wanted to include various activities to keep their guests entertained; I’m talking about a photo booth, popsicle cart, personalized menus, musical performers, and chart readings… Can we please stay for the party?! They also chose the most stunning wedding venue, L’Auberge de Sedona. It’s an incredibly peaceful and intimate location with loads of natural beauty, it was oh-so-charming! We seriously were so happy to be a part of this wedding alongside some amazingly talented vendors. I mean those paper goods?! Out of this WORLD beautiful! Courtney from Spindles Design Co. absolutely nailed it, plus she provided custom artwork on our builds! Everything was styled and decorated perfectly.

One thing Miwa and Jason were not afraid of incorporating into their wedding at L’Auberge de Sedona was color!
They went with pink, peach, yellow, orange, and more, and their day was exploding with hues that mixed together beautifully into one vibrant glow. Their ceremony really captured the wedding colors perfectly. On their ceremony arch, there was some beautiful draping done in varying colors of blue, pink, coral and deep burgundy and they carried this design aspect over into their reception for the popsicle cart. The ceremony was set in front of the mountains and guests sat among charming pink chairs that softened the ceremony area.
We have had the pleasure of being included in a ton of weddings, but this one right here may take the cake for the most creative curated events we’ve ever been a part of! Their overall vision board really captured an organic and natural palette with warm earth tones and natural materials. We definitely were up for the challenge and the fun of bringing it all together!

Miwa and Jason asked us to create two creative structures for their wedding: their seating chart and their popsicle cart.
Yup, we made a popsicle cart! They really wanted to capture the essence of their cultures while also making everything feel cohesive, soft, and natural. For their seating chart, we created a towering structure that came to a curved point at the top. Inspiration for this seating chart came from the Taj Mahal! The seating chart was such a statement piece and looked incredible tucked into the most gorgeous vignette by the popsicle bar and lounge furniture. The popsicle cart was the sweetest piece we made, literally! We built the base and partnered with Spindles Design Co, who designed the artwork to incorporate their wedding colors, then added some adorable wheels. The cart had this gorgeous old-fashioned feel to it while also being extremely modern and fitting to Miwa and Jason’s style.
Creating for events such as Miwa and Jason’s wedding at L’Auberge de Sedona keeps our creative gears moving and we LOVE it! There are so many unique ideas out there and we love the challenge of bringing them to life. It is so wonderful seeing a couple’s vision made into reality and to hear that we executed it perfectly. Seriously, we love what we do! And trust us when we say you’re definitely going to want to scroll through the rest of the photos from their sweet and stylish wedding day. Enjoy!!
