Coachella Inspired Wedding at Andaz Scottsdale | Abby + Zach

Coachella may have been postponed for the last couple of years due to Covid, but that didn’t stop Abby and Zach from inviting their guests to the desert for the festival of a lifetime… their wedding! This vibrant, Coachella inspired wedding was equally as fun as Abby and Zach, full of excitement and vibrancy! When our couple let us in on their ideas we were SO pumped. This was such a creative idea and we just love how these two took something that they love so much and incorporated it into their wedding day. As huge fans of music and the Coachella festival, Abby and Zach knew they wanted their wedding day to have a similar feel. So, we quickly got to work creating this insanely cool event!

Details were what really brought this wedding together.

In order to really hone in on the Coachella theme we knew we just had to replicate the infamous Coachella font and colors. The first place we brought in this Coachella-inspired detail was with their very own “festival lineup” escort display featuring none other than their favorite people! With the oh-so-famous gradient background of colors fading from hot pink to a sandy-yellow, we had the perfect base. Abby and Zach wanted the artwork on their display to reflect their wedding location so instead of just palm trees and the Ferris wheel, we added Camelback Mountain. Then, each “headliner” was the table that the guests were seated at and their names were listed below just like the traditional Coachella lineup is! This escort display was so much fun to execute. They even put a sweet dedication to their wedding planner, Andrea! “Andrea Leslie Weddings presents…” it was so creative and perfect for Abby and Zach. We still can’t believe how amazing it turned out!

Abby and Zach’s Coachella inspired wedding day was seriously so cool.

They held their big day at Andaz Scottsdale. It’s a hip and cool laid-back bungalow-style space that had a gorgeous outdoor area, perfect for their ceremony and dinner. In addition to the stunning escort display, we were lucky enough to create a few more custom details for their wedding day including table assignments and a custom neon sign! Everything tied into their Coachella theme. Their table numbers were all named after different stages at Coachella and we made sure to carry the signature colors, font, and designs throughout. They kept the party going at the end of the night with an after party inside where they danced the night away. Abby changed into a sparkly Retrofete dress that was covered in gold palm trees, and that neon sign we just mentioned? It was the perfect detail added to their after party that represented their hashtag #AZinAZ (how perfect is that?!).

The Coachella inspired wedding details just keep coming!

It’s obvious that Abby and Zach spared no details, so when we found out they hired the actual balloon artist who does Coachella’s famous balloon chain we weren’t surprised but SOOO excited! They had them create their very own balloon chain at their wedding, it was amazing! The newly married couple danced to “ILYSB” by LANY under the beautiful balloon chain and string lights for their first dance — talk about the perfect first dance setting. They enjoyed their dinner, toasts, and cake with friends and family under the rich navy blue skies of Arizona before heading over to their incredibly fun after party.

Abby and Zach’s day was so much fun to be a part of and truly inspiring.

We just hope that they can make it to Coachella this year, haha! Each and every detail of their wedding day was carefully thought out and brought to life. Even their adorable Cavapoo pups approved!
