Sharing this connection with our couples inspires us to incorporate meaningful touches into their custom wedding displays, and it’s our favorite way to really make each piece unique!
Moon and Stars Escort Display
Today we want to introduce you to our amazing couple, Tammy and Conner. They came to us in search of the perfect details for their December wedding at The Paseo. We began chatting and getting to know each other, and learned that filling their wedding day with sentimental value was going to be one of the most important parts. We couldn’t wait to begin brainstorming different ideas! From the start, Tammy came to us with the idea of having stars and space incorporated somehow, since Conner is an Aerospace Engineer (which is the COOLEST job ever)! We built their seating display featuring guest tables printed onto stars and a large crescent moon for drama. Collaborating with our couples is our favorite way to create, so when Tammy brought her initial vision of the seating display to us in the form of a sketch we were SO stoked. I sooooo wish we still had her original drawing to share!
Personalized Details
For the next custom piece, Tammy wanted to do something extra special for Conner and his family. Conner was very close with his grandparents and his grandma had just passed away a few years ago. Tammy knew how meaningful it would be to Conner and his family to see his grandparent’s signatures engraved onto their guestboard – so, we made it happen! Boy was it a big hit. Tammy sent us the sweetest note after the wedding sharing how much this detail meant to them, and happy tears were shed immediately!!
In addition to these meaningful details we also worked with Tammy and Conner to bring their hot sauce favor display to life (they both LOVEEE hot sauce and wanted to bring a little heat to their day!) We built adorable flame accent pieces and a sign; guests snatched these bottles up fast. Check out the side-by-side below for a peek at Tammy’s vision vs. the result! Another display piece we created for them was the “To The Moon And Back” neon sign that hung behind their sweetheart table.
Alright, we’ve shared all of our favorite little details but let’s talk about their wedding day itself. We arrived at their wedding venue, The Paseo, and immediately felt all the excitement. This is one of our favorite venues in Arizona! I mean, those ceremony views…. so stunning. The weather on their wedding day could not have been better, it was DECEMBER but felt like the perfect spring day. The sun was shining, the skies were blue, and the day was turning into everything Tammy and Conner dreamed of. We began setting up and throughout the build we were complimented constantly by Tammy and Conner’s friends and family, it made us feel so loved and welcome!
Creating custom wedding decor is a passion and we are just over the moon (pun completely intended) with the way Tammy and Conner’s displays turned out! From their moon and stars seating chart to the minor details like the signage on their favor display, we had the best time coming up with ideas for their dream wedding at The Paseo. Tammy and Conner leaned into the idea of incorporating pieces of their life into their wedding day and everyone loved how it came together!
